Overview
Productivity measures how efficiently production inputs, such as labor and capital, are being used in an economy to produce a given level of output. Business transformation is for making fundamental changes in how a business or organization runs, including personnel, processes, and technology. The Industrial Revolution was the transition from creating goods by hand to using machines.
A first step to automation is where Robotics plays a major role in creating intelligent machines that can assist humans in a variety of ways.
The Internet of Things (IoT) describes devices with sensors, processing ability, software, and other technologies that connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the Internet or other communications networks.
Any vehicle/car that can connect to the internet is called a Connected Car. Connected vehicles can always access the internet to perform functions/download data when requested by the user.
This has been performed using different types of communication technologies, and this is where automotive and information technology work hand in hand. Different types of connectivity technologies are; Vehicle to Infrastructure (V2I), Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V), Vehicle to Cloud (V2C), Vehicle to Pedestrian (V2P), and Vehicle to Everything (V2X). The goal of V2V communication is to prevent accidents by allowing vehicles in transit to send position and speed data to one another over an ad hoc mesh network. Vehicular communication systems are computer networks in which vehicles and roadside units are the communicating nodes, providing each other with information, such as safety warnings and traffic information. The subject is filled with live industry examples, tutorials, and assignments.
